Rugby Children's Contact Centre

FAQ

Do I have to meet the other parent?

No, arrangements can be made so that you do not have to have contact with the other parent. This can be arranged at your initial pre-contact meeting.

However you should contact your solicitor and make your wishes known so that these can be passed on to the centre volunteers..

Are the arrangements flexible?

The agreement reached between the parties would normally be the pattern for the meetings. Any need for minor changes could initially be discussed with the Coordinator.

Can the children go out of the centre?

This depends on the agreement reached between both parents and solicitors at the time of arranging

Who else can apply for access/contact?

It is now possible for grandparents to apply to see their grandchildren at the contact centre.

The grandparents should contact their solicitor to see if it can be arranged.
